The End is the Beginning
Thoughts on the end of life
Over the past couple of months, our family has been walking a road no one ever wants to travel. My sweet mother-in-law is nearing the end of her life after bravely fighting multiple battles with cancer since 2020. During the past several weeks, my wife has been by her side, serving as a loving and tireless caregiver. Watching her strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her mother has deeply moved me.
In life, we often resist endings. We push against them, wishing moments could last longer or circumstances could be different. But for those who put their trust in God, those who have lived their lives anchored in His Word, the end is not something to fear. It is simply a beginning.
Over the last few days, as our family has gathered around this precious woman of faith, I’ve been reminded of the beauty of fully resting in God’s arms and of the promise we all have of eternal life. What a comfort to know that He is a present help in times of difficulty and is near to all who call on His name.
I know this new year has already brought full schedules and busy days for all of us, but if you’re able to remember our family in prayer, we would be deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who has reached out via text, call, or message. It has meant more to us than you could ever know. We are truly thankful for God’s family and the love that surrounds us. May God bless each of you in this New Year.

Our prayers are with your family. Thanking God for the blessed hope.
No matter what, losses are difficult, but for those of us who have faith in Jesus Christ and have been saved according to the scriptures there lies a hope of meeting our savior when he calls us home.
For those of us left it is an additional inspiration to be joined with our loved ones who have fought the good fight!
God be with you all 🙏
